Tenuta San Guido is an Italian winery located in the DOC region of Bolgheri, in beautiful Tuscany. The premium wine from this renomated winery, "Sassicaia", which corresponds to a French Bordeaux, is one of the best red wines in Italy. The Tenuta San Guido winery was founded in 1944 when Margrave Mario Incisa della Rocchetta planted the first red wine vines around ten kilometers from the Italian coast. The vineyards, made up of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, covered a rocky escarpment overlooked by a magnificent castle complex known as Castiglioncello.
Tenuta San Guido is the result of a very long tradition and of an ethical message handed down from generation to generation. Over the years, the dedication and commitment to the company's activities have led to many successes: Sassicaia, in the wine sector, the Razza Dormello Olgiata, in the breeding of thoroughbred horses and the Rifugio Faunistico Padule di Bolgheri, for the protection of nature and wildlife.
