Brunello di Montalcino by Claudia Ferrero is a distinguished red wine hailing from the southern slopes of Montalcino, Tuscany. Crafted exclusively from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, locally known as Brunello, this wine embodies the rich tradition and passion of the Ferrero family. The vineyards are situated at approximately 250 meters above sea level, benefiting from clay-rich soils with low fertility, which contribute to the wine's unique character. The favorable climate, characterized by sunny days and cool nights, allows for optimal grape maturation.

Grape variety: Clonal selection of Sangiovese, locally called Brunello.

Vinification: Harvested manually with meticulous selection, the grapes undergo fermentation on the skins for about 20 days at controlled temperatures below 28°C in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for a total of four years, including two years in large Allier oak casks of varying sizes, followed by refinement in the bottle under temperature-controlled conditions.

Tasting notes: Deep ruby red with remarkable intensity. On the nose rich and complex, featuring elegant varietal notes of Sangiovese harmoniously enhanced by tertiary aromas from aging. Exhibits great structure with ripe tannins balanced by volume and acidity, leading to a long, clean, and mineral-driven finish.

Food pairing: Brunello di Montalcino pairs excellently with roasted meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses, making it a versatile choice for fine dining experiences.

Alcohol content: 15% vol.

Serving temperture: 16-18°C
