The Ceraudo farm is located within a 17th-century hamlet, nestled in a 60-hectare garden of vineyards, olive groves and citrus orchards that stretch all the way to the sea. The estate includes a Michelin-starred restaurant, rooms with breathtaking views of the hills and a wonderful swimming pool nestled in greenery and surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. From an organoleptic point of view, Ceraudo wines are all very elegant and stand out for their complexity, their substantial texture and the persistence of their aromas. Petraro is an astonishingly full-bodied red wine aged for 3 years in French oak barrels.

Grape variety: Gaglioppo, Greco Nero, Cabernet Sauvignon

Vinification: Aged for 36 months in French oak barrels and 2 years in bottle.

Tasting notes: Intense garnet red color. Nose: harmonious with slight hints of wild berries. On the palate: an astonishingly full-bodied, velvety and round red wine.

Food pairing: aged cheeses, red meat main courses

Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.

Serve at 16°-18°C

Awards 2016: Wine Hunter Award Rosso; IWSC: Bronze
