The Kollerhof winery is located in Mazon (or Mazzon) - in the south of South Tyrol, at about 500 meters above sea level. Mazon is a renowned Pinot Noir growing area - ideal terroir for an expressive and elegant wine of this variety.

Grape variety: Pinot Noir

Vinification: harvested by hand, the grapes are gently destemmed and dropped into steel tanks, where controlled fermentation takes place. The wine is stored and refined in wooden barrels for a year. It then rests in stainless steel tanks for the winter before bottling.

Tasting notes: ruby ​​red in the glass, its bouquet is varied of forest fruits and cherries. Light, silky tannins and the fine acidity give it additional elegance.

Food pairing: The fruity, full-bodied Pinot Noir is an adaptable wine that goes well with starters and with white and red meat dishes, both boiled and roasted.
