A “Super Tuscan” from Umbria. The wine is a challenge with the most important grape varieties in the region, the Sagrantino. Sagrantino is one of the most tannin-rich grape varieties in the world, and winemaking is difficult and complex. The wine is characterized by concentration and complexity; respect for diversity, but also for the elegance of great wines. The aging capacity is remarkable, thanks to the high polyphenol content. 

Grape variety:  90% Sagrantino, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vinification: Ageing in French oak barrique, 12 to 14 months, then 18/24 months in bottle.

Tasting notes: Deep ruby red. Nose: Notes of red fruits with hints of spice and vanilla. On the palate: decisive, powerful, with a significant tannin concentration. Very long finish.

Food pairing: red meat and game

Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.
