Torrevento is located at the foot of Castel del Monte, a mysterious castle that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The castle stands alone and imposing on the highest hill of Murgia at 540 m asl. It is a territory where the inseparable relationship between man and environment dominates, in a perfect fusion of tradition, human activity, and nature. The winery pursues a development plan that has always been based on research, sustainability, and quality. The same values have marked the passionate and ethical work of its founders to give life to excellent wines representative of the culture and flavours of Apulia.

Grape variety: Primitivo

Vinification: fermentation with maceration. Ageing: 10 months in stainless steel, 6 months in barrique, refinement in bottle.

Tasting notes: Intense ruby red wine that is enriched with orange hues as it ages. Aromas is very intense, full and fragrant bouquet with ripe cherries and red fruits. Flavour: harmonious, full-bodied taste.

Food pairing: Classic red wine perfect with roasted red meat. Excellent with hard cheese and salami.

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
