Torrevento is located at the foot of Castel del Monte, a mysterious castle that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. The castle stands alone and imposing on the highest hill of Murgia at 540 m asl. It is a territory where the inseparable relationship between man and environment dominates, in a perfect fusion of tradition, human activity, and nature.

Grape variety: Nero di Troia

Vinification: fermentation with long maceration. Ageing: 8 months in steel, 12 months in wood (large barrel), refinement in bottle.

Tasting notes: deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Intense, full and fragrant bouquet with hints of small red fruits. Flavour: full-bodied, harmonious taste with hints of spices.

Food pairing: Excellent all meal wine to accompany soups, first courses, white meats, fresh cheeses and fish-based dishes. Ideal as an aperitif and perfect with pizza.
