Marche Sangiovese IGT finds its roots in the Marche region, a place renowned for producing some of Italy's finest but less known wines. However, while Sangiovese from Tuscany often steal the spotlight, Marche Sangiovese quietly shines in the realm of very good quality wines. This wine is obtained from the vinification of Sangiovese grapes from a vineyard planted in 1999 in a clay-limestone soil, located in Podere Cavalieri.

Grape variety: Sangiovese 100 %

Vinification: The grapes are harvested manually in small boxes, in the cellar they are de-stemmed, placed in steel tanks and left to macerate for a few days with their own must. At the end of this phase, the wine rests in an underground cellar and after a few months of aging in steel it is bottled without undergoing any clarification, stabilization and filtration.

Tasting notes: Ruby red color. Nose: Aromas of cherry, black cherry, red fruit jam. Great freshness on the palate, slightly mineral, long finish.

Food pairing: sliced beef, roasts, mixed grills

Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.

Serving temperature: 14-16°C
