The Terčič winery is located in San Floriano del Collio, near the border with Slovenia, on the easternmost edge of northern Italy. The Collio DOC area extends across the northern band of the province of Gorizia, in an area of just over 1500 hectares of hillside vineyards.

Grape variety: Merlot 

Vinification: Ageing 15 months in barrique and 5 months in a bottle. 

Tasting notes: Ruby color. Complex on the nose, with aromas ranging from red fruits like raspberry, wild cherry, blackberry, berries to coffee and white pepper. On the palate: elegant, soft with fine and delicate tannins.

Food pairing: meat dishes such as rib-eye steak or roasted saddle of lamb, also with hard cheese variations.

Alcohol content: 13% vol. 

Serve at 16°-18°C
