Sourced from sun-soaked vineyards, this wine opens with vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, and hints of violet. As you take your first sip, flavors of dark plum, dried fig, and a whisper of espresso dance across your palate, balanced by soft tannins and a touch of spice.

Grape variety: Sangiovese, Montepulciano, other Italian grapes

Vinification: Using traditional methods, the grapes undergo a long maceration to extract deep color and rich tannins, enhancing the wine's body and complexity. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for up to 12 months, allowing it to develop layers of dark cherry, blackberry, and a hint of dried herbs, all underscored by soft tannins and a delicate spice.

Tasting notes: deep ruby red colour, with elegant garnet hues. Aromas of cherry and blackberry, to the fresh spicy notes typical of Italian wines, such as rosemary and pepper, with a closure of tertiary or ageing scents where chocolate and vanilla.  Long aftertaste with hints of morello cherry and plum.

Food pairing: matches meat based dishes, roasts, stews made with best cuts.

Alcohol content: 14.50% vol.

Serve at 16-18°C
