Grape variety: Barbera
Vinification: obtained from 100% Barbera grapes harvested by hand. After a long maceration, the wine is aged in new barriques (Allier) for about 15 months.
Tasting notes: deep ruby red colour. Complex and intense nose with notes of red fruits, liquorice and tobacco. Full-bodied and rounded on palate with a lingering finish.
Alcohol content: 15% vol.
Food pairing: Excellent with mixed cooked meats, pot roasts, spit roasts and even lamb.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
