This wine is the purest expression of the Bergamo area terroir, starting from the name itself that is the name of the geological substrate that characterise the soil of the vineyards. The wine is fresh, fruity and fragrant.
Grape variety: Merlot
Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel, ageing 13 months in steel vats.
Tasting notes: Ruby red luminous colour. Nose: very fresh fruity fragrance mainly of red fruits with floral notes. Fresh on the palate, a bit spicy with a pleasant finish.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Food pairing: cheese, vegetarian appetizers, poultry.
Serve at 16°-18°C
