Discover the allure of Etna DOC Spumante, a refined sparkling wine crafted from the rare Nerello Mascalese grape and made using the traditional method in Sicily. Grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, these grapes capture the unique terroir of the region, bringing depth and minerality to every sip.

Grape variety: Nerello Mascalese

Vinification: After careful hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo a delicate pressing to preserve freshness and finesse. Following primary fermentation, the wine is bottled for a second fermentation, a hallmark of the traditional method, which allows it to age on the lees for an extended period. This process develops complex aromas and imparts a fine, persistent mousse that enhances the wine’s elegance. Ageing in bottle on the lees for 36/48 months and 6 months after disgorgement.

Tasting notes: Re Befè presents itself with a bright yellow color, while the fresh olfactory panorama is marked by spicy and mineral notes of lava stone, black ash and incense that blend with the citrus aromas of cedar, kiwi, and orange zest, followed by fruity notes of green apple and a floral bouquet of broom and lemon leaves, mountain herbs and light hints of fresh almonds. Good persistence and pleasant mineral finish.
